As a passionate software/cloud engineer, I have a wide background in backend, mobile and cloud development. I have worked on a wide range of projects, from performant programming languages to modern web applications and APIs.
I am 24 years old and have been a developer for as long as I can think. The technologies I work with are Python using FastAPI for backend, and Typescript for backend and/or frontend using Express, NestJS, Next.js, React, React Native, etc. I code in my free time as well to start new personal projects or learn new technologies and frameworks in an ever-evolving domain.
When I am not writing code I spend time with my friends and family, play games or travel the world by bike. I come from a multicultural background, being born in the United Arab Emirates, being half Syrian and half Romanian, and living in The Netherlands, I've lived in very different cultural environments.
Currently joined Nordcloud to work with clients migrating their on-premise infrastructure to the cloud, or improve their existing cloud infrastructure.
At Arup I've worked on AWF, an internal product which allows non-technical engineers to create reusable workflows for data analysis or high-performance computing that spin up on demand infrastructure with different module-based puzzle pieces, and CRISP, which provides a framework for clients to asses their climate impact based on data of physical assets, and offers guidance on how to reach international standards of sustainability.
Founded my own non-profit startup to blend social entrepreneurship initiatives with consumer-centric software solutions. Charitee wants to empower people to contribute towards a better world.
I've had the opportunity to work for the largest European payment processing company using Java and Sprint Boot to work on Connect, their online payments platform, using the Spotify Scrum model. Additional I gained new responsibilities when I became the Scrum Master of my squad and took part in the Release Process of the product.
Technologies: Python, Java, Microsoft Server SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS
Working with Java in Agile sprints, I had the opportunity to contribute to many of their infrastructure changes, such as their migration from Microsoft Server SQL to PostgreSQL and their migration to AWS, micro-services, and cloud, while also developing data pipelines and novel projects for their 2025 BHAG.
